QUANTICT, NORHED Project is a collaborative project among the universities of Nepal and Norway. Tribhuvan University (TU), Kathmandu University (KU) and Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences (HiOA) Norway are the three partners. TU is the lead partner in the project. This project is funded by Norwegian Programme for Capacity Building in Higher Education and Research for Development (NORHED) under Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD).
The aim of the project is to enhance professional capacity of the faculties in using virtual learning environment in open and distance learning, set up necessary ICT infrastructure and develop research level human reosurce in the field of VLE. Joint action research, participatory monitoring and evaluation strategies are another focus and feature f the project.
The name QUANTICT is the acronym of the project entitled "Enhancing Access and Quality of Teacher Training/ Professional Development of Teachers Using ICTs and Distance Delivery Modes". (See more in About Us)
