Payment Methods for Indian Participants

Indian Nationals may also do the payment through following methods, either through the SWIFT or through a Draft.

SWIFT Transfer

Please kindly transfer the funds to our Bank Account as per the following details

Note:

All the local and overseas bank charges incurred will be the participant's (Sender's) responsibility. The Symposium Secretariat (Beneficiary) should receive the exact amount of registration fees (US$ 150). Once the payment has been received you will be sent an email confirmation. Official invoices will be made available upon request.

Please also note that Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (Beneficiary's Bank) deducts USD 5, from each Inward Remittance Transfer transaction, so you are requested to add amount equivalent to USD 5 in your payment.

Some Intermediary Banks outside Nepal sometimes deduct their processing fees and forward only the remaining funds to the ultimate beneficiary, hence if there is any shortfall in receipt of the payment, the Symposium Secretariat will inform you about the issue, and the balance will be due at the Registration Desk which you need to clear on the first day of the symposium.

Therefore, the participant has to advise the remitting bank to charge him/her for the international transaction cost.

After transferring the payment through SWIFT, please send an email attaching the scanned copy of the payment receipt / SWIFT message to ert-admin@kusoed.edu.np

DRAFT

• a) You may approach any branch of State Bank of India and instruct the Bank to issue a Draft for US$ 150 in favor of KATHMANDU UNIVERSITY payable at Nepal SBI Bank Ltd, Kathmandu, Nepal.
• b) You may approach any branch of Punjab National Bank and instruct the Bank to issue a Draft for US$ 150 in favor of KATHMANDU UNIVERSITY payable at Everest Bank Nepal, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Once the Draft is issued, kindly courier the Draft to the attention of The Symposium Secretariat on the address given below and also send an email attaching the scanned copy of the Courier Receipt to ert-admin@kusoed.edu.np

Note:

If you send a Draft issued by other Indian Banks, the Draft needs to be sent back to India for realization of the funds and will involve additional time and payments. If you are not able to send the funds via Draft issued by SBI or PNB, kindly make the payment through SWIFT.
