Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel

The symposium will be organized in the Kathmandu University premise, Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel is a small town situated about 30 kilometers east of Kathmandu along a highway leading towards northern part of the country and to Tibet, China. Owing to its location along the hill slopes facing the majestic Himalaya ranges in the north, the town is a popular tourist destination. Located at the height of about 1500 meters from the sea level, the town is very picturesque and offers very beautiful views of high Himalayas, green hill slopes and valleys and small village settlements along the hills and in valleys. On a clear day the town offers a clear view of Himalayas ranging from the Langtang in the west to the Sagarmatha (Everest) in the east. The town is also famous for its sunrise, sunset, ancient architecture, traditions, and charming and smiling people.
